DAV 9 FORT SHERMAN

The Disabled American Veterans is a 501C4 Veterans Charitable Organization chartered by Congress in 1922. Fort Sherman Chapter 9 was chartered in 1938, serves members in Kootenai and Shoshone Counties as far south as St. Maries. Fort Sherman is the oldest Chapter in Idaho and has been in existence for over 75 years. Membership in the Disabled American Veterans requires that a veteran with Honorable service must have been wounded, gassed or injured in time of war.
